At Euroports Finland, safety is of the utmost importance. We consider safety to be more than merely following the rules and regulations – it is a value to us! Safety is an important aspect of professional competency, and it is our mission to guarantee that we return home healthy and safe at the end of each work shift.
Safety management is based on the defined safety strategy of the Euroports Group. We emphasize pre-emptive risk identification and assessment, reacting to safety observations, confronting unsafe work practices, and continual employee training in safety management. We follow the implementation of the safety strategy by monitoring annual occupational health and safety indicators and safety goals. We also arrange different events to increase safety awareness, as for example "Global Safety Day" that is organized annually on the 28th of April. Our long-term goal is zero accidents in all of our terminals and logistics platforms.
