Work ability management is an area of managerial work combining the promotion of employees’ health, work ability, well-being and safety and the development of work and the working environment.
Euroports strives to support the health and well-being of its employees. Matters relating to work ability management are addressed regularly at company level. We encourage our employees to maintain their work ability independently by implementing a work ability programme.
In April, the employees of Euroports Pietarsaari suggested the acquisition of company-owned bicycles because cycling is a popular mode of commuting and free-time activity. EPF’s management team decided to pilot company bicycles in Pietarsaari and acquired the service from FleetBike. The service was launched on 3 May and it became popular instantly.
We have received very positive feedback from the team of Pietarsaari, and if everything goes well, we will start offering the benefit to the employees of Euroports Rauma and Hanko in 2023.
The company bicycle benefit supports the sustainable development objectives of Euroports.
