Change in the corporate structure of Euroports' Rauma companies as of March 1, 2025

The corporate structure of Euroports' Rauma companies will change as of March 1, 2025, as a result of business transfers.

Starting from the beginning of March, the business operations carried out by Euroports Containers Oy and Euroports Breakbulk Oy will be conducted exclusively by Euroports Breakbulk Oy. Similarly, the business operations of Euroports Bulk Terminal Oy and Euroports Rauma Oy will be conducted exclusively by Euroports Rauma Oy. The operations of Euroports Logistics Oy will remain unchanged.

Going forward, Euroports Rauma Oy and Euroports Breakbulk Oy will operate at the Port of Rauma. The change is driven by the consolidation of business operations and the streamlining of administration and corporate structure.

“With these changes, we are harmonizing our operations in Rauma to align with the widely used structure within our group. The organizational changes clarify internal responsibilities, which will also have a positive impact on our customers," explains Managing Director Sari De Meulder.

“As a result of the reform, the comprehensive role of production planning for the Rauma terminal will also be correctly positioned within the organization. The development work in production planning has progressed on schedule, and the organizational change is part of the overall implementation,” says Joachim Wiberg, the future head of the Rauma terminal unit.

The business transfers will only cause organizational changes within the production organization. Other parts of the organizations will remain unchanged.

Changes in the production organization

Joachim Wiberg will be appointed as Business Unit Manager of the Rauma terminal unit as of March 1, 2025.

Kari Jalonen will be appointed as Operational Manager of terminal operations (Euroports Rauma Oy) as of March 1, 2025.
